We do not need a 1/4 point. Their is no justification for it. I could make a damn good case to lower rates. The explosive productivity of the computer revolution is causing the boom. These bankers do not understand what is going on, and think they are causing the boom. One of these days, I am going to finally start my own thread, called "The Theory of Money" and go into this.
