interesting point you make about societies human 'refuse,' --those in our various incarceration systems. there is a 'thinker' in my circle of acquaintances who has considered this angle of y2k and has posited these subjective 'conclusions:'

1) there is societal refuse both in and out of prisons. it will be easier to kill them than to 'deal/provide' for them.

2) it will be one of the military's 'assignments/orders' to take care of this problem.

logical? borders on absurd? anyone wish to make a comment or share a reaction?

i'll share mine after others have a chance to respond so as not to slant the anticipated responses. i must say, i've only heard gary north speak once on the radio and he devoted a few minutes to this inmate situation. that was the first time i thought about y2k affecting 'them.'
