Private Message SGII kiddjj123456 Jun 17 1999 12:58PM EDT An open letter to S.G.I. Shareholders
People, I have contemplated and agonized in writing this letter for weeks. The reason for this letter is to tell you my inner most feelings, and convey to you my thought process in making my decision I am about to tell you about
In my opinion, there is nothing more important in life than candor. Sure, you may lose it now and then, but it will be a loss well gained if you do. Nothing is so boring as having to keep up a deception. S.G.I. shareholders we have( in my opinion) been deceived by Joe Savoca. This is why at this time I am saying to vote NO on JOE when you get your proxy vote. He is up for re-election for S.G.I's Board of Directors.
Here is how( in my opinion) where Joe Savoca started to lose all credibility with shareholders f, . I am now going to tell you the story from my perspective. S.G.I stated last year that they were going to Japan and meeting with Mitsubishi officials and all through the week I would call and ask how the trip was going. The companies' response always was very good, telling me in the same breath such little tidbits as how expensive the trip was, how long the flight was etc, etc, etc. So, when Joe was supposed to be in Japan, he in reality was in California!!!!!! And all along S.G.I covered this up They were told to lie! When asked about the trip !!!! The ethics, the morality the gall of this man simply astounds me!!!! This man is driven by an ego not seen by me in my lifetime!!!!! Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. Joe, this decision was STUPID in my opinion. The company has gone on for a year harboring this cock-and-bull story.
S.G.I shareholders, All truths passes through 3 stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. S.G.I in my opinion is going through all of these stages at this time
Joe Savoca is not the C.E.O of the company and in my opinion should not be on the Board of Directors. To me, Nothing is more difficult, and therefore more precious, then to be able to decide this decision at thus time. After weighing all the hard- found facts that have been brought to my attention, I have no other choice when the proxy comes to VOTE NO ON JOE and I would hope you would do the same I know that I have stocked a lot of people. There is nothing wrong with the company; in fact the company has never looked better. There is a lot of hard work going on now and the fruits of Mike Rose and Jim Mahlers efforts along with other S.G.I employees' are about to pay off handsomely in my humble opinion.
S.G.I right now has to restore credibility in my opinion. To do this, Mike Rose has to make the toughest decision of his life whether to back his life long friend or what is in my opinion to ask him to resign for the betterment of the company. This is my mind how I assess the situation. The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which bridge to BURN!!!!!!
If in fact Joe does not resign in my opinion
VOTE NO ON JOE
The above statements are true to the best of my knowledge, make your own assessments and decisions.
