AMD is a serious threat! I guess you're smarter than the Germans who have invested almost a billion dollars in AMD's new fab plant. AMD dropped today because 1) a general decline in chip stocks, 2.) the markets inability to wait for more than 1 day for profits. Intel will not compete with AMD until at least 1999, this according to Intel itself. AMD's television advertising blitz should tell you something is up! They are softening up the beach for their attack on Intel's market. Intel has not yet mastered layered deposition technology. AMD gained the technology from Nexgen!
