Novell is going to begin using a webserver that can authenticate via biometrics (I believe it will use IDT software as the standard), and now Microsoft makes clear it will use a similar system.

Novell's system should come online at any time. Microsoft's implementation is still a year or so away. But the issue has been settled. The next generation Internet architecture will have a major place for remote biometric authentication.

Combine this with IDX's Compaq alliance, likely future OEMs, smart card alliances, deals with Motorola, Oracle, and (we think) Siemens . . . and you can see two years into the future when IDX will be a very up and coming Internet company. When will the analysts see it?
