I have to agree totally. I use the pdf file format regularly in my work, and haven't needed the full Acrobat so far. I actually did try it out, and it is pretty sorry. You cannot even do the most basic things, like editing text, in any simple and logical manner. I have resorted to using Illustrator to do the pdf editing that I need (filling out and creating forms) and use a word processor with Adobe's print to pdf file utility.
Although I use Adobe's products regularly, they all have, to a greater or lesser degree, idiosyncrasies that drive me nuts. Acrobat 4.0 is the worst in this regard.-JB
