Ish the point is we are talking about abolishing laws not enacting them. I'm saying there is a good chance total gun control could pass in California... no weapons, none. No weapons allowed, can't come in with them. Its not a permit thing. In that way the second amendment would be overturned in Ca. That would be the same thing as some individual state overturning Roe v Wade as far as I'm concerned (not the same legislatorially I understand, I'm talking principle). The side point is money, if states are to be permitted to exist as islands, then they should be self funding. Right now the liberal coasts fund the bible belt for things like national highways that nobody drives on. If Alabama wants all this prayer education and mandatory church for everybody fine, but they have to pay for it themselves. Imo this attitude will drive the bible belt into oblivion.
