Illinois is in the middle of the country and is in the top 5 every year in exports. I live 2 miles from State Farm which hit the Fortune top 5 in cash flow last year. Duh, Caterpillar the worlds largest heavy equipment maker in Peoria, John Deere in Moline. <<And as far as federal highways/transportation, I think we should take the federal $$ we spend for southern states and redirect it to building a new NYC subway, since its NY money anyway, same in California - >> Well sheyit hon, guess you never saw all the New Yorkers headed to Florida and the Gulf Coast every winter.
