These two Brazilian rig deal have been cooking for a long time -- as has the Terra Nova contract. Nothing really new here, and that's why not much market reaction...not too mention the rates aren't all that exciting. But still, operating cost is about 30-40, so they are making 60,000 a day. Not like the "glory days" but it beats a sharp stick in the eye.

Steve, tmw is your day for RIG -- those Calls either fly or die. You could still be ok with a LOT of luck. I still say the stock is going higher, just the option timing was a time gamble as much as a price gamble.

This weekend's ODB will talk a little about SLB/RIG/??? and what the BloodHoundDog has sniffed out.
