Don-- Don't discount my chums at EVRC and their NiZn. They are well financed and have deeper pockets behind them than we. They have an impressive array of executives from ABB, Varta, etc. (even if their Mr. Kanode makes some unfortunate statements in print that will come back to bite him.) Rest assured that laptops powered by NiZn will be more like the Compaq luggable suitcase of yore than my Thinkpad. Rest assured that our own Mike Fetcenko and some of our Japanese licensees have presented compelling data that we are already leaders of the pack (ahead of Lion, and waaaay ahead of NiZn) on VOLUMETRIC storage of energy. I think it is NiZn and not Lion or LiPoly that will be our nemesis. I see it as bulkier, lower cycle life, and less tolerable of high drain rate than NiMh but way, way, cheaper. Now Magnesium hydride.....
