I agree with the anti-green sentiment. I find my eyes moving up there on each page (which may be effective for advertising, but I'm finding it just plain annoying -- something that doesn't help the sponsor). It's way too hot a color for this design. A nice light blue like #ccccff would serve to highlight the link but still match the gray and yellow far better than this color.
