I really don't see a purely commercial site as a terribly promising internet business model, whether it's spy-whatever or bighub-whatever or somethingelse.com, absent the kind of immediate gratification an EBAY or TV Shopping Channel gives certain people.

It isn't long after computer literate people get accustomed to surfing the web that they get annoyed at the cookies, the spams, and pop-up ads, etc. They are unlikely to go looking for more. Most surfers who are less computer literate will remain for some time frightened about buying over the Internet or giving out their names -- as well they should be, perhaps, unless they enjoy junk mail by the ton.

Content has to predominate to attract surfers. Hawking goods only works if you have an audience.

I see BHUB is still sinking. Another move in the works, maybe, from Texas to Guatemala, perhaps?
