EL--- <<" Only Kumar and I have been on target during that time. El">> I am on the "on target" list too!!! Too bad I did not short instead of going long at the time. I knew the company was sick--- but did not believe close to terminal.

<<"He seems to think that Rosen is doing some sand-bagging with all the bad news so as to surprise and outperform all expectations on Wall Street">> True but outperform to what extent? He must get WS BELIEVING something from some one at the company. No credability now.

<<" Harv says that earnings will come in closer to flat">> Harve must have been drinking more han you were!

<<" that Rosen will appoint a kick-ass CEO soon">> After they get their chance at HWP and other PRIME offers..

<<"and that very positive AV news is imminent. El">> For how long have we been hearing that? The company is sick,, very sick.

<" assured me that CPQ will be 40 by Christmas.">> I hope he said "Christmas of 2003"!! I am sure he is hoping for 28 - 30 this Christmas but with 2 shitty qtrs going o be reported who will have faith in them by then? Everyone will be expecting a shitty 4th qtr to be reported also... Now they cannot afford to buy back shares to help--- they need the cash to cover additional expenses and losses for the forseeable future.....
