All the more reasons to buy...

A friend of mine bought CPQ right after Pfeiffer was ousted. I told him he should have waited. Compaq would surely announce major losses and bad quarters. I explained once all this bad news was public the perfect time to buy would emerge. It was really a no-brainer. He agreed with me that he jumped the gun.

I think buying CPQ now is a smart, conservative move. Sure it could dip below $20/share, but's what's a few bucks to me? I think the best time to buy a blue chip company such as CPQ is when everybody is negative.
