ScuM, What's worse than a copperless coppermine is Intel not comming clean with stockholders and the street about the design flaws affecting Merced. Scuttlebutt out of Chandler has it that Merced is at least 18 months delayed due to numerous design flaws. So far the chip has not made it off the drawing board. This may be Barrett's downfall. Meanwhile The K-7 should have a exceptionaly long head start. Advantage AMD.
