I just read Bill (Mr. Doom and Gloom) Fleckenstein's column on www.stocksite.com. I guess I will have to quit going there because that guy can really take the wind out of your sails. After going throught the last six weeks of internet bloodletting, you can't even have a pleasant rally without that guy saying "the glass is only half full", "and it's leaking... I think." He doesn't appear to even be able to fathom the possibility that technology has changed the economic outlook and it is not as predictable as he would like it to be. He can't comprehend the thought of sustained growth and strength in what could very well be a new economic era. He appears to be sitting in a room in front of his typewriter (there's no way that guy owns a computer) waiting for the world to collapse in economic chaos. It's amazing. He is one of those analysts? who believe they have it all figured out "because it happened in the past, and things can't change... can they?" I think the poor lost soul needs to read "The Roaring 2000's" by: Harry S. Dent (isbn: 0684838184). And after you read it Bill, "get a clue" and go on vacation!! I hope this market rockets and hits 12,000+ by the end of the year!!! Poor ole Fleck will be sitting off in the corner somewhere biting his nails. And to think, I was one of the fools who voted for him because I thought maybe, just maybe RH knew what he was doing. Sorry Russ, you (and I) missed the boat on this one!! What a waste of GNET shares!! Alright, I'm done. His despairing column finally dunked me!!
