Actually, this problem was announced 3.5 months before the target release. When's the last time Jerry warned that something was going to slip over a quarter from when expected, except maybe Q2 '99 earnings?

I can understand disappointment with the slip, I am extremely disappointed (to put it mildly). But comparing this announcement with the Kx yields bombing and then announcing is not the same thing, IMHO.

I will only say this once, and then let things go as they will: The last time you heard an Intel exec state the ramp was going as expected, it was.
