some possible reasons for the updraft... short covering. intel approves micron's rambus drdram samples. micron is ramping rambus production right now. intel has a rambus chipset shipping earlier than expected. lab tests confirm sony ceo's statement that high speed ddr is unstable. rambus now has a de facto monopoly. matsushita is ready to roll out their new line of rambus enabled consumer products. the hint of government intervention on sony's pII rollout makes it clear...rambus memory power in your computer is awesome. dell pulls rambus memory modules from samsung's storage area. rambus has some awesome new design wins and word is leaking. or... all of the above. unclewest
