FLSTF97,

People have been grumpy about OnTrak pricing forever. In a more healthy pricing environment (as it seems AMAT is the only one not seeing heavy pricing pressure), people will stop complaining as loudly.

I would also argue that LRCX's GM will bounce back due to a variety of factors having little to do with OnTrak pricing ... but, we'll have to see how it plays out.

I agree, though. At the margin, cleaner pricing will probably be a negative with AMAT's entrance ... especially if the performance is similar. I think pricing, in general, has been nothing to write home about ... even though cleaners have been a relative bright spot ... or at least they had more margin to give!

In terms of the future, I am sorry that you do not know what it will bring. It must be very difficult to make it through the day without knowing exactly what is going to happen tomorrow. I couldn't imagine that. <VBG>

Have a good day ... probably won't be as good as yesterday ... but, it is better than Sept-Oct of 1998.
