Hi,

If you are interested, there Next Generation IP network is based on Lucent equipment. They basically now have the ability to offer IP leased lines and give commitments to traffic that requires low latency (VoIP). Seeing that this is a Worldwide network they are rolling out it puts WorldPort in position to offer commited bandwidth for customers VPN's at the IP layer to destinations all over the world, or directly into the Internet. This architecture will become the defacto model and I would not be surprised to see WorldPort aquired by a large carrier.
