RE: Henry Blodgett. I find it interesting that when Blodgett was at CIBC Oppenheimer he said that $400.00 was the price target for AMZN before year end 1998.Then Jonathon Cohen (who was then at Merrill) said AMZN was worth $40. ( His negativity on the internets represented Merrill's pooh poohing of the internet as a business.
I remeber they had a one-on-one on CNBC and Blodgett trumpeted AMZN at $400., Cohen saying fooey, it's only worth $40.

Now Blodgett is at Merrill ( and he is more toned down on the nets) and Cohen is at Wit Capital and he's the Internet Guru now!
My lesson: watch the agenda of analysts and how their employment seems to have a big impact on what they say!
