Hey, if you're all so irritated about the downgrade by MSDW and think it's a conspiracy to pin the stock on expiration, the party to really get mad at is Intel. They're the ones that delayed the introduction of Coppermine, not the analysts. Yeah, and come to think of it, Intel also announces earnings just before expiration every quarter. What scumbags!

It's the same every time, and I guess I should learn. An analyst (Edelstone, in this case) recommends a stock that the board likes, and he is a genius. When the very same analyst does not like the stock, he either a) is an idiot or b) is involved in a conspiracy to benefit Wall St. Overlooked is the most likely scenario, that he just doesn't like the stock as much right now. And as long as your time horizon is longer than a month, what Edelstone says makes absolutely no difference anyway, so why get so worked up about it all? |
