Other probable factors in this play: 1. Mr. Nacchio and his personal ambitions 2. Mr. Anschutz and his 40% stake in QWST 3. BLS and its ambitions 4. Maximising shareholder value and the need to have a large revenue base 5. It's easier to acquire than to build. It certainly looks like poker at the moment.
