KM.

Ahmed,

KM has traded in a relatively narrow range for several years. It hasn't been a good long term investment and I imagine long term shareholders would support a merger. Due to it's $8 billion market cap, my guess is that either Dayton Hudson or Walmart would be interested in them. Either of those companies could close under-performing stores or close stores in proximity to Target or Walmart stores. It sounds like a good idea from a strategic perspective but I have no idea if it's true. With the stock currently up 1 5/8, I think the downside risk is about that much if the deal doesn't materialize. Depending on how much you think the buy out would be for, you can assess the risk to reward. I personally wouldn't buy the stock unless I thought the upside was 4 to 5 bucks with a better than 50% chance of the merger occurring.

Best of luck if you buy it.

Dan
