No, the difference is that Cisco can charge for their equipment and expertise... ASND has had to give it away at a steep discount simply to compete. LU will help them though.

Let me ask you the obvious question Mizzou. If ASND was taking market share away from Cisco why in the world would they have sold to LU? If they are winning...then they would not have needed help and would have rather entered into a partnering relationship. No, instead I suspect more to the truth is that Mory had the insight to know that ASND could not go it alone and that giving away PORT's or steeply discounting would eventually come back to bite him.

Last I checked companies were valued upon how much RETURN (read margin) they recieved for their investors...not how many PORTs they sold. Perhaps that is why CSCO is commanding and holding a higher PE.

Mizzou, aren't you getting tired of being wrong all the time... or is it that it just happens so often that you're used to it. HA!
