First, there is a lot "going on behind the scenes that we commoners don't know about." The company is terrible at communicating with shareholders. Part of the problem stems from the very nature of the technology -- top secret. I think that atmosphere has pervaded even decisions surrounding basic communications with shareholders. New management comes with that "secretive" oil industry mentality and not with the typical public company executive experience where they were used to a role of communicating with their ultimately employers -- us, the shareholders and owners of the company! Give them time to get their sea-legs and maybe they will grow into that role. But as of now they have hundreds of shareholders that have no clue as to what in the hell is going on. All we need now is a few lawyers to join the company and we will never hear from them again!

Another problem is that the partners are not willing to talk about what is going on either. It is totally against their best interests to alert the competition. So again, another information abyss. That is why this company is so difficult to follow. You have to doggedly get all the little pieces from all different sources and put them together into a mosaic. Only then does the picture become clear that a) the SFD has been proven to find structure, and b) it looks to be about 80% accurate at predicting hydrocarbon content. Under scenario a) the stock goes up a lot, and under b) A LOT MORE. The problem is that it takes far too much time and energy and just plain getting past initial disbelief to gather all this information. That is why just a handful of people own most of this stock. Few have been able to view the mosaic in order to understand it. (Even when I posted all the pieces on SI, just a few have been able to focus on the big picture. Maybe I should have posted a naked picture of Pamela Anderson with an "SFD" tattoo on her ass! Would they have seen that? <LOL>)

Finally, the SFD is perfect for Sable Island because the SFD is in a plane. They never touch the ground. The ultimate eco-friendly exploration tool. I am amazed the oil patch is not asking to try the device, but then again not. The oil industry is too conservative and takes an enormous amount of time to adopt new technologies. They also see black box frauds all the time. Do you think the existing partners will broadcast their two years plus of testing the SFD to the industry out of the goodness of their hearts? (Encal, by the way, did NOT share the SFD data with Pan Canadian regarding Shoal Point. Instead, Encal used the perfect overlay of the SFD data on the seismic work that was done to decide to farm in on Shoal Point. I do not believe Pan Canadian has ever seen any SFD data.) The first couple of commercial wells drilled using SFD data that successfully come in is what it will take for the industry to wake up and realize the SFD was not a hoax and the partners were pretty good at keeping this fuzzy for as long as they did. It should all be there in black and white many times by year end. I think I have always told people just to follow this closely. On the first success or two my guess is there will be a short delay. Just like when the alarm goes off when you are in a deep sleep and your brain is hazy for a few seconds. Retail investors who are following this closely should be able to take advantage of Wall Street's brain delay and not miss the huge run to follow. Institutional investors are pretty much too late. Where are they going to find size in the stock? It's taken. Look at the volume yesterday... ZERO!
