Hello everyone,

jbe was kind enough to PM (yes, it's a verb) me to remind me what fun all of you were having here. Work took over my life during the past few months, and some poorly timed securities transactions took the enjoyment out of my SI-surfing time. Any-who, I'm back (which, incidentally, is a strong correlator to the beginning of Internet stock mania, so buy your August calls now).

To contribute a little to the last 600 messages:

1. A sowbug is that little creature that rolls up into a ball when you scare it (ok, ok, that's actually a pillbug, and the sowbug is the one that looks like it but is a little flatter and can't roll itself up). "Sowbug" is a nickname from my childhood, and jbe correctly pointed out (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=9219694) that the nickname came to be from my last name.

2. I vote for keeping the original thread title, "SI Grammar and Spelling Lab." Steven Rogers' "Free Beer And Sex!!!" would be a reasonable subtitle, though (it'd be nice to be first in the list on all search engine queries).

3. If you haven't seen this site, look at it: <http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/index.html>.
