I agree, but even if "the sensibilities of the majority HAVE been continually offended by such hostility" , that is neither justifiable basis for action nor effective argument for persuasion... A necessary and fundamental concept of a free society (and a founding principal of this country) is that the liberty and life of individual humans is NOT to be held hostage to the 'offended sensibilities' of any majority (that is, to mob-rule). ...mark
