The importance of USW/FRO to QWST and GBLX: There is T and WCOM. There are the baby bells, which really are BEL, SBC and BLS. And there are the new guys: QWST, GBLX, and LVLT. The only way the new guys can leapfrog into the big leagues is by acquiring USW/FRO. BLS is too big to swallow, and SBC/BEL are even huger. CWP is a player, but is all over the world. which might be very attractive actually. Whoever wins USW/FRO will be one of the big three. Whoever loses, will have a lot of catch up to do, and less resources to do it with. my take. larry
