Ed,

Glad to hear that BBN has actually gotten any media-time. The company is, in fact, an "Internet Giant", one of the top four in the nation but they are very quiet. They have streamlined themselves into basically two divisions: BBN Planet and BBN Systems and Technologies.
Within those two divisions there are possibly several entities that could be spun off but who knows? BBN is a very intelligent ISP with
strong management that just doesn't seem to be able to make a profit as they ply every dime of revenue back into R & D so as to position themselves, at some point in our lifetimes, to be the premier survivor in this whole cyber-gog thing. Suggest you check out their home page at: www.bbn.com
