What is Avid's sales number anyway ? (1-800-GET-LOST ? :-)

When you call their sales number, no-one answers ? Or they answer and refuse to take your order ? Or ... ???

I thought Avid used distributors, but you have found a direct sales number that goes to Avid itself ?

Just curious, trying to understand the problem. The answer makes a difference to my investment strategy re Avid.
