All it requires is now many trades will the system handle in a 3 day period at least if the answer is more then 100k then NT will not handle the load.

By the way I got 3 days by trading day plus 2 day to finalize it.

Now lets say they have to keep the trades in the system for a week.
I defy you to find a company that uses any MSFT product or database to keep that type of volume on their systems.

I suggest that you leave this O/S sytem question alone cause you have no clue at all.

I am not a UNIX person all major brokerage houses keep all of their information on their mainframes not UNIX or MSFT they might collect this info thru them but trust me they do not keep them and i would be very surprised if ASTN will keep their info on the PC(aka UNIX MSFT) side.
