Does anybody know what to do about the following problem with IE5?

If you are in the SI edit window, and you use the backspace key hoping to delete some text, what often (but not always) happens is that it is as if you clicked the "Back" button at the top of the browser window.

I recently upgraded from IE4 to IE5, and I'm finding this to be a nuisance.
