Boy oh boy what an awesome day!!!!!

Was that me this morning with the call:

Strong open to the downside for the NASDAQ. Down 20. I like what I see. If the Tech Sector can turn around, this could be a very strong day for Mr. Softee...

Jill, with the sell off in the Futures during the final hour before the Market opened and with the big sell off at the open, I got the sense that there was a very large short selling effort launched to try and spook the Market. And though the NASDAQ opened down 20 points, the breadth in the NASDAQ remained positive and some the internets (and AOL) were on the plus side. To me, this was a positive indicator for the day, as well as my fundamental belief that MSFT is buying shares in the open market upon any weakness in an attempt to spur this recent strength in the stock.

For the first time in three months I am hoping that the Call holders, not the Call sellers, win out on this expiration day. There is a very bullish tone to the market today, thanks in no small part to MSFT.

Don't get me wrong, today will still be a very volatile day.

What do you think, folks, was this luck or was this skill?????

I'm just having a little fun. This past month was one of the best I've had in a long time.
