HM has a news: biz.yahoo.com SAN FRANCISCO, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Homestake Mining Company (NYSE: HM - news) has become aware of an unsolicited tender offer by IG Holdings Inc. to purchase up to 1% of Homestake's common shares at a price of U.S. $6.875 per share.
