Cosmo,
Let me see if I can fully clarify this.
In both of my Wachovia accounts, I show that I have shares in a book entry form in the name of Medinah Gold. They are issued in my name with Wachovia acting as, let's say, a fiduciary. Presently the shares have no value.
The "boys from the Lazy 'W'" assured me that my shares were safe, and they will treat them as if they were their own (again, as a fiduciary).
For what it's worth Wachovia Bank and Trust is a full service bank (#3 in North Carolina). My family does much business with them. They dare not lie to me, or anyone, for that matter.
These shares, as Medinah Gold, will show up on my monthly account statement, and will, therefore, serve as my written confirmation.
Everyone one of us should be treated the same in this regard.
stan hope
