Jeff, <options expire worthless> . James Bittman quotes CBOE statistics for each month in 1993 and 1994 on page 108 of 'Options for the Stock Investor'. As a reasonable sample, in 1994, 53.1% were closed prior to expiration, 11.5% were exercised, and 35.4% expired worthless. . Regards, Don
