Circuit City took off $1.38 per share for its DIVX problem. These $$$ were very big for the company. They are equal to almost the whole year earnings in 1999FY ($1.48). BestBuy will add about 50 new stores nationwide. It will tight CC's potential coming earnings. CompUSA is going to sell digital cameras and DVDs since these two have become basic requests from computer buyers who want the cameras to be able to compatible with their computers and the computers must have DVD players. The top management team of CC should let the shareholders to know what are they going to compete with those two big rivals. I am not worrying about TAN because of its slow moving styles.
