Regarding this 10 commandments in federal buildings and schools, I have read nowhere that anyone connected with it has said that this is of key importance in any way. Well, I take that back, that pillar of morality Bob Barr feels that the posting of the 10 commandments in schools would have prevented the columbine massacre. One lawmaker, Rep. Bob Barr, R-Ga., said recently that if the Ten Commandments had been posted at Columbine High School, the April 20 massacre there would never have happened. The amendment's sponsor didn't go that far. search.washingtonpost.com Everybody else assumes this invites a legal challenge and is a small first step to a higher moral code in schools (for christians only) ... if even that, so why bother doing it? I suppose the buddhists and other non-christian kids are in no need of moral values preaching and a higher moral code .... hmmm that says something right there, I'm not sure what though... Can't anybody in Washington come up with something more worthwhile than a bunch of religious propaganda in schools? How long have the schools been in decline academically.... no real progress there and yet these kooks sit around in Washington and argue about prayer and the 10 commandments as if this is even relevant.... amazing....
