I notice now that Yahoo has voice-enabled chatting. Does anyone think this technology might be the actual beginning of widespread "telephony" via the net? I could see this breaking out and becoming a standard, if the technology were good. I haven't tried the Yahoo solution so I can't vouch for how good it is, but something along those lines definitely makes sense for the "next step" for the web. It's here and it's now, and apparently already working (for free, even) over on Yahoo. Now we just have to leave our computers on all the time and hook up a phone receiver to one of the ports. Oh, and get the computers to "ring" :) Jay
