I can't recall whether I asked them if they'd sell the extension as a part or not. You wanted them to sell you just the extension...they wouldn't. I agree.. the Erector set idea probably could be made to work. I'm not in the market for more bays at present..but you line up your ducks when ever you can... The 1/32in space between external bay occupants annoyed me some..
