I have a hard time seeing the two CEO's merging. Nacchio has stated he doesn't believe in co-CEO's. He certainly wouldn't be willing to step aside unless he was offered a lot of money. Even then I don't think he would go willingly as this is his vision. It would be like asking Gates to step aside from MSFT. But stranger things have happened.

One other thing that hasn't gotten much attention is that any takeover currently being discussed would have to be approved by the FCC. They could put a real monkey wrench in the works.
