Did you really go long AMZN or was that just a joke. If you went long AMZN there's nothing wrong with that. However, I now consider you as I do a lot of others, technical analysts in fundamentalist clothing. I think there are a lot of people who think they are trading on fundamentals when in fact they are actually following the technicals if nothing else following the current trend. There are even people that scoff totally and technicals, saying they don't work, there's no evidence, scientific studies etc... but when you ask them if they looked at a price chart of any kind before they bought or sold---even just one with price and volume--you will find that they ALL look at a chart first.
