Almost as bad as if one company, say, GE, OWNED the business news station. :-) Seriously, though, I agree with you. And, I'd guess that GE, oops, I mean CNBC, also wishes they could get more advertisers to compete for the time available for commercials.

Also, it would be great if CNBC could apply their standards of production to the commercials they have to run to pay the bills. Then we would no longer have to tolerate such nonsense as "The Denver Mint makes lots of coins, so we helped them put on a new roof;" or hear, "...rendering its intentions useless." Every time I hear these stupid comments, it grates my nerves worse than fingernails on a chalkboard.

But, since the option is silence and market ignorance, I suffer quietly. Well, almost, anyway.
