I have found Schwab to be a problem in the past. I could not get confirmations quickly. It usually took 2-5 minutes and a phone call to get confirmed. I finally gave up trading intraday with them.

When I studied my time and sales data I found out they were holding my orders on the stocks they made a market in. Actually, they make markets through another company they own, not Scwhab themselves.

So they would hold my order as long as possible and then fill it in their favor. i was finally told they "had up to two minutes to make a fill on a market order".

That's when I checked out.

Kevin
