I am with you E. I don't know how to phrase it in a short answer, but I am really uncomfortable with some of the downright weird sex stories concerning childhood and sex, and sexual education. I am all for honesty, and I answer all my children's questions. I use correct names- but I don't go any further than I need to go to answer their questions. My mother got carried away answering my questions as a child and really creeped me out at the age of 6 or 7 by getting some really graphic sex education material (meant for children) but it was wayyyyyyyyy more than I wanted to know. So I am for limited answers, and letting the child completely set the pace and NOTHING graphic. That sexually latent period between kindergarten and 4th or 5th grade is important- and innocence needs to be respected. Not the innocence that can get a kid killed (sadly we have to tell our kids about stranger danger and whackos that would hurt them) but the innocence that remains.
