Tom,
Check out www.rezulinnews.com . It is an WLA posted and I am sure FDA approved summation of the Rezulin meeting and findings.

It makes sense that MCOs that own their own mail-order programs would look at Planet Rx as competition. Why would they want to fill essentially a mail-order prescription using as provider that does not offer any cost advantage? HMOs can buy drugs much less expensively than any provider could offer. Just because HMOs are slow to action, does not mean they are stupid, they hold the cards as the payer. If you just take Aetna, Merck-Medco, PCS and Express Scripts that is over 170 million covered Americans. Considering that close to 30% of the US population does not have pharmacy benefits, that would leave you with 5% of the US population (260 MM), able to use Planet Rx as a contracted pharmacy.
