Well, Bob, we all know the SEC can be a stickler... Yes, ok... I give up. But hey, no gloating on the thread about big IPO gains! <ggg> Friday, I exercised the 10 June 80 calls that I bought for 2.50 on Tuesday. Wish I'd bought a whole lot more! It's always so hard to see these downdrafts as opportunities when you're caught in the headlights with your pants down. I'm definitely in greed mode now. Loaded up on CMGI (and other) July calls. All the duckies seem to be in a row... - fears about inflation have been greatly reduced. - better than expected CPI numbers. - yield on the long bond is below 6%. - rate hike of .25% already factored in. - timing is perfect, i.e., we're one month from earnings. - average earnings will be better than prior quarters, with many upside surprises expected. - many/most techs and internets have been beaten down 30-50%. - tons of cash on the sidelines. - lots of upbeat comments from the influential analysts. Looks good to me!
