Hi Charles,

From the releases it appears to me that (1) the Breeze product could really be useful in satisfying an evolving set of end user work at home requirements, and (2) the Typhoon is a major step up in scale.

The suggested list price for the soho unit is high, IMO. End users and sohos will have a hard time justifying $2195, even after discounts. Maybe where enterprises will spend the money when deep discounts are applied, but it'll be a tough nut for residentials. The list price is something like three times the cost of a good high-speed Pentium xx, itself. They are going to have to get that number down.

Also, I notice that the second release (the Typhoon) makes reference to Telephone Company usage, for the central office space. From a sizing perspective, this may be true. Is this unit Bellcore NEBS-compliant? Also, I wasn't aware that the iNOW! and MGCP standards were completed and ratified, are they? I blinked and didn't notice, if so. Thanks for the post.

Regards, Frank Coluccio
