HI RM..I got no problem with the Intel, nor do I think the new chip is going to put her on her knees any time soon, just that it will take some market share..and maybe more than people think. The deal DEC cut with Mitsubishi is one to keep an eye on. Heck Ford, Chevy, and GM, didn't die because of imports..but they are not riding as high in the water as they once were. I knew if I mentiond AMD some people might go o gee..but don't think AMD..dont eat up market share..and I saw that coming, at least on the low end pc clone market..which is larger than most people think. I just didn't know how many of you in this window had heard about the new chip deal..it's going to make a splash no matter how you cut it..because it's going to be cheap too..or at least cheap compared to the other alpha chips.
